FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Can I buy tickets to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teachings only on the internet? No, tickets are also available for purchase in person in the Broadway ticket offices.
2. Do I need to buy a ticket for my little child? No, children under 4 years, sitting in the lap of a parent, can attend the teachings for free. 3. Can I sit in the first row with a VIP ticket? The first two rows are reserved for lamas and monks/nuns. With a VIP ticket you can sit right after these rows. 4. Is the VIP ticket valid for both days? No, the VIP ticket, too, is a daily ticket. So, if you would like to sit in the front rows, you need to buy a VIP ticket for each days. 5. In what language with His Holiness teach? Will there be translation into Hungarian? His Holiness will teach in Tibetan and in English, but of course, there will be Tibetan-English, and English-Hungarian translation. 6. Will there be personal, one-by-one blessing, whereby I can meet His Holiness in person? No, there will be no possibility for one-to-one blessing. Sunday morning His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give an initiation and blessing of the Buddha of Love and Compassion for everyone. Anyone attending will, together, receive His Holiness’ blessing. 7. Are the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama aimed to buddhists only? No. His Holiness, and Buddhism in general, does not differentiate between sentient beings, and does not make any classification of human beings whatsoever. His Holiness usually teaches about the extraordinary potential inherent in human life with regards to the guidelines of the Buddha. So, the teachings are for everyone, in a clear, easy-to-understand language. 8. As the tickets are not for a specific seat, will everyone fit in the auditorium? Of course, we will only sell as many tickets as the seats of the auditorium. Papp Laszló Areana has a capacity of 12,500 seats. 9. Is there a possibility to meet His Holiness in person? No, unfortunately, there is no possibility for personal meeting, or audience. |
